SMMART
Social Media Marketing for Artists
SMMART 2.0 is starting! We have revamped our social media marketing for artists program to enable artists of all social media levels to learn how to manage their own marketing campaigns. Over the next few months, we will be offering 15 individual workshops spanning various social media topics and platforms. Whether you’re just getting started on social media or know your way around but could benefit from some additional info in a few areas, there is a workshop (or several) for you!
While each workshop is designed to stand alone, we are offering the workshops in such an order that you can build up your knowledge over the course of multiple workshops, depending what you’re wanting or needing to learn. You can start with learning the basics at the first workshop and work your way up to creating a campaign or you can pop into any of the workshops you feel would be good for you.
Please read the workshop descriptions to have an idea of what each workshop will cover and keep in mind that some of the later workshops may be more beneficial if you have the knowledge of topics covered in earlier workshops. For example, if you attend the ‘Mastering Instagram’ workshop, you would likely get more out of it if you either previously attended the ‘Capturing & Editing Photos and Videos’ workshop or are already confident in your skill level for capturing & editing photos and videos for social media.
All workshops are free to attend, but advance registration is required. Please see individual workshops for registration.
All workshops will run from 7:00pm-9:30pm.
Workshops will take place at Path Cowork – 1965 Broad Street #200 – in Regina (next to the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel). This venue is wheelchair accessible and free street parking is available.
While you’re likely to get the most benefit by attending these workhsops in person, there will also be an option to register to watch the workshop over Zoom if you are unable to attend in person.
If you have any questions, please contact Roxie or Emma by email at smmart@creativecitycentre.ca or by phone at 306-546-5565.
