Join us in Regina Downtown from February 3-12 for art, games, workshops and more!

Join the Creative City Centre, in partnership with Regina Downtown and Frost Week, for ten days of fun winter art activities in Victoria Park February 3rd-12th! Local artists are creating snow sculptures, there will be a variety of art workshops for you to enjoy, and there are so many other things to see/do!  Bring your skates, check out the outdoor art gallery, watch movies, and so many other fun things to do in our frosty city!

Snow Sculptures

Victoria Park

Snow sculptures will be carved onsite by local artists. Take a walk around Victoria Park and see what the artists create!

Defrost the Block: A Generative Winter Writing Workshop with Geanna and Cat

Saturday, February 4, 2023, 3:00-6:00 p.m.

Victoria Park, Frost Main Tent

Warm up your creativity with generative writing prompts meant to help connect you to the fun of winter! The session is structured so participants may come and go or stay for the entire session.

We recommend participants bring their favourite warm drinks, and coziest clothing, we provide the rest!

Telling a story about hand games, where it came from , why we play it and how it is made.

 

4:40 Workshop – Learning to play and practice

Explaining the rules of the game, how to win and playing some warm up games

 

5:00pm – Playing Hand Games

Playing a mini tournament (Depending on participants) to music
