Yvonne Niegas is an emerging artist based in Regina, Saskatchewan, working primarily in printmaking.
Born and raised in the Philippines, their practice is rooted in the intricacies of human experience and
connection, exploring themes of identity, belonging, and emotional resonance. At the core of their work
is an interest in interpersonal connection, captured through moments of vulnerability, humanity, and
quiet intimacy.
Yvonne is the gallery assistant at Neutral Ground Artist-Run Centre who received their BFA from the
University of Regina and is currently pursuing a Post-Baccalaureate program in Visual Arts to further
develop their practice. Alongside their studio work, Yvonne is actively engaged in community initiatives,
