Marea Olafson has been a Visual Art teacher for the past twenty-five years and in 2003 began learning wheel thrown functional pottery. In 2013, Marea and her family moved back to Wynyard area and put up a small store on the edge of the highway to sell her pottery and other local artists work on the honour system.
