Harley Sinclair is a multidisciplinary Indigenous artist from Regina, Saskatchewan, and a registered member of the Peepeekisis Cree Nation in Treaty 4. Rooted in modernist abstraction, his work explores themes of identity, memory, and resilience, drawing from the vast prairie landscapes and lived experiences that shape his artistic voice.
Sinclair’s practice spans large-scale public art, painting, and sculpture, with recent projects including a prominent downtown Regina mural that reimagines the city’s skyline through the shifting seasons. His latest exhibition, Little RED Boy, is a deeply personal introspection into moments of isolation, displacement, and self-discovery. Through bold compositions and expressive textures, Sinclair challenges conventional narratives, inviting reflection on the complexities of Indigenous experience.
As his career continues to evolve, Sinclair remains dedicated to expanding his visual language, pushing the boundaries of abstraction, and fostering dialogue through his art.
