From Regina, SK in Treaty 4, Geanna Dunbar is a Cree-Métis spoken word poet, visual artist, body mod artist and entrepreneur with a special interest in sustainable art and interdisciplinary community collaboration. Geanna works in mixed media collage, sculpture, acrylic, street art, chalkboard and window painting, and large-scale murals. She has exhibited, created art, and facilitated workshops in these mediums for dozens of businesses and organizations. Her most recent mural is the internationally recognized “Path to Reconciliation” on the Scarth Street walkway in Regina.
The Creative City Centre exists because of the financial support of Jacqui Shumiatcher, Dr. Roberta McKay and Elmer Brenner. These generous supporters of the arts in Regina are pillars in our community and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts!
