February 20 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Prose & Paws: Co-writing with your pet
A songwriting workshop

Friday February 20th, 2026

6:30 – 8:30PM

Location: the Art Shack downtown Regina on the plaza

Megan doesn’t care for winter. Max loves winter. Megan has sensitive teeth. Max chomps on snow. Can Max and Megan Nash write a winter song so they can cash in on seasonal song royalties and buy the fancy expensive dog chews? Join them on their frosty journey on February 20th.
Megan Nash is a songwriter from Treaty 4 Territory. Her last album “Soft Focus Futures” was called “lyrically masterful” by Exclaim! and that was like, really nice of them to say that. She has played shows around the world including Portugal, Germany, Wales, and Estonia (humble brag). Nash has been nominated for four Western Canadian Music Awards, has taken home three Saskatchewan Music Awards, and is a JUNO-losing proud dog mother to geriatric puppies including Max Nash and the late Shiloh Nash. She is managed by a cat named Marfie who takes 10 percent of all her purrformance fees. She is currently reading “We Love You, Bunny” by Mona Awad.
This workshop is free, drop in, all ages, no experience required!
